CLEO:F(1)|Vcb| = (42.4 ± 1.8 ± 1.9) x 10-3 using: F(1) = 0.913 ± 0.042BR(D*+ln) = (5.66 ± 0.29 ± 0.33)% yields: |Vcb| = (46.4 ± 2.0 ± 2.1 ± 2.1) x 10-3
F(1) uncertainty
This result is strongly correlated with the measured slope, r2, of F(w):
CLEO: r2 = 1.67 ± 0.11 ± 0.22 LEP: r2 = 1.01 ± 0.08 ± 0.16
As we saw, LEP and CLEO now agree
about the total semileptonic BR.
Preliminary:
Belle: BR(D*ln) = (4.74 ± 0.25 ± 0.51)%
BR(Dln) = (2.07 ± 0.21 ± 0.31)%
(34.5 ± 0.7 ± 1.5) x 10-3
(42.4 ± 1.8 ± 1.9) x 10-3
