What are the requirements for the Accelerated Validation Programme, (AVP)?
After Acceptance and final Enrollment, you will be asked to complete the Wittfield Prior Learning Portfolio, which details evidence of learning outcomes since high school.
The portfolio describes your extra-collegiate learning derived from academic, professional, and life learning experiences.
Your learning history provides us with a means of assessing extra-collegiate learning, and forms the basis for translations of your existing knowledge and experience into academic credit toward your degree requirements.

The portfolio of prior learning, which is part of the Wittfield's Accelerated Validation Programme
AVP is presented to the University's Evaluation Committee and consists of the candidate's resume, autobiography, transcripts and other substantiating documentation submitted.

Some of the methods used to support the awarding of college credit for the knowledge gained outside the traditional college classroom include, but are not limited to:
Transcripts from traditional and non-traditional colleges and universities, tech-schools, business or military schools, professional associations and societies, etc.
Certifications representing courses/programmes of study from training schools, business and industry programs, associations, societies, labor unions, governmental agencies, non-profit organisations, corporations, seminars, workshops, military, etc.
Professional and career licenses in:
Investments, insurance, appraisal, real estate, management, consulting, etc. languages learned, product development, patents, course work design, and courses taught, etc. as well as other knowledge and skills obtained that can equate to college-level learning.

Degree Candidates fulfilling the requirements for a desired degree are immediately eligible for graduation and will be notified by their assigned Programme Advisor as to the process necessary to obtain their earned college degree.

How long will it take for me to obtain a degree?
That depends on the type of Programme chosen. For example, if an applicant qualifies for Wittfield's accelerated Fast Track degree programmes
AVP , which are primarily open to adult professionals with substantial prior knowledge and experience in their area of interest, only a final academic paper or research project may be required to complete the degree programme.
