About our web site

Ross College got its "web feet" wet back in the mid 90s with it's very first web site. At the time, as with most other University and College web sites, Ross College did not have a webmaster. As a matter of fact, the whole concept of a webmaster was still being defined and developed by the still preadolescent web community.

The Ross College web site progressed from its early beginnings to a much grander scale and in January of 1999 the online instruction received accreditation form the Association for Online Academic Accreditation. After that a plan was set in motion to "upgrade" the web site on a continual basis.

By the fall of 2000, with the growing needs of Ross College and the rapid advancement of the world wide web, it was decided that the web site again needed to be redesigned and re-engineered. On average, web sites are redesigned every two years; so by the time this latest revision of the web site came to full fruition it had been close to two years since the last "edition" had been released. The site was redesigned and re-engineered again in 2002, this time with a more user friendly atmosphere.

What's to come in the future? We'll be working on a campus intranet, web-based email, and a host of other useful features.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions about the web site, please don't hesitate to send them to us at info@rosseducation.net. We welcome your responses as we work to improve the site.
