Quizzes can be comprised of multiple-choice, true/false or fill-in-the-blank questions.
Once you finish a quiz, you will be required to mark the checkbox indicating that you wish to submit the quiz for grading. This is a safety measure that the tool uses to make sure you do not accidentally submit your work before you are complete.
One week after the due date, you may view your scores by either coming back to the quiz itself.
Exams are similar to quizzes. They are able to administer multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blanks, true/false, matching and essay questions. All but the essay are automatically scored by the system. Exams are generally used for larger tests such as midterms or finals.
There is a checkbox at the bottom of the exam that is an important safeguard before you submit your exam. This will ensure that you don't inadvertently press enter before you are ready.
Exam grades typically are not available until one week after the due date.
