AFFILIATION: Hartford University is a private for profit institution, which is owned and operated by Reliance Education Corporation. Reliance Education is a Vanuatu International Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Acclaim Investment Corp. We do have several mailing options in the US for your convenience.

ACCREDITATION/APPROVAL: Hartford University is accredited by Central States Council on Distance Education, 4401 Connecticut Avenue NW, Suite 205, Washington, DC 20001.

STUDENTS AND FACULTY: Students from more than 37 states and 24 foreign countries are enrolled in Hartford U programs. The HU faculty is well-qualified and highly competent, with nearly 65 percent of full-time, ranked faculty holding doctorates.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Traditional Undergrad:
Admission to Hartford University is selective and an applicant's credentials are evaluated by the Vice President of Admission. The applicant is required to present a secondary school record with an average of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 scale in college preparatory classes, and have satisfactory ACT or SAT test scores. Each applicant is eligible for a portfolio assessment.

Adult Education:
There are 4 types of admission: Full Admission, Tentative Admission, Conditional Admission, and Special Student Status-Non Degree Seeking. Student must maintain a 2.0 grade point average (GPA).

Graduate:
All graduate programs require a minimum of 3.00 GPA in the student's bachelor degree program. Different requirements apply to specific programs and are listed in each program description.

REGULAR FEES: The following fees are for the 2002-2003 school year. The University reserves the right to modify these fees without advance notice.
