Hamilton University is an accredited postsecondary institution of higher learning granting accredited degrees based on the rigid accrediting standards of the American Council of Private Colleges and Universities (ACPCU). In addition the Board of Trustees has written these standards into the university’s by-laws thus, legally, they must be strictly followed. All transcripts carry the ACPCU seal. If you are seeking a degree to meet specific requirements established by others, to comply with a regulation or to obtain a license, the university suggests that you check with the requiring authority as to their degree and accrediting requisites. All prospective degree candidates are provided with complete and official accrediting information prior to enrollment. ACPCU has certain officers, directors, staff and sponsoring organization(s) in common with one or more of its member colleges and universities.

Degree Granting Authority

Hamilton University is incorporated in the State of Wyoming as a nonprofit university and meets all legal requirements in regard to that incorporation. The official by-laws of the university provide authority to grant graduate and postgraduate degrees in a wide range of fields and disciplines. Degrees can be conferred worldwide. The university is exempt from state licensing due to its theocentric nature and affiliation.

Hamilton University is affiliated with and supported by the 55 year old FION Fellowship. The University and the FION Fellowship seeks to provide a Nature based forum for education of the mind, body and spirit according to its nondenominational theocentric doctrine. The FION Fellowship never seeks to impose its beliefs on any degree candidate but information is available to anyone expressing interest. Hamilton degree candidates and graduates come from virtually every religious background as well as those who do not participate in any organized faith.

Student Records

The university is authorized to accept transfer credits from all accredited and select unaccredited institutions of high learning throughout the world. Upon graduation each candidate is awarded a diploma and provided with an official set of transcripts—each bearing the raised seal of the university. Additional transcripts are available from the Registrar’s Office.
