Fermilab experiments 773 and 799 will make precise measurementsof decays of neutral K mesons to test our understanding of thefundamental interactions. For technical reasons, we expect the"standard model" to break down at energy scales close to thosecurrently accessible. Comparisons of theoretical predictionsand the experimental observations to come from E773 and E799could provide hints of what lies beyond the standard model. This is a small experiment, with about 15 active participants.Data were taken in 1991. Analysis is in progress.
